Birendra Tal
Manaslu is the eighth-highest mountain in

meaning spirit. The mountain's elevation reaches nearly 7,000 metres (20,000
ft).
Manaslu is an iconic destination for
mountaineering and the Birendra Tal is a gorgeous turquoise lake at the foot of
Manaslu glacier. This lake is accessible by trekking from Sama Gaon, which is

Manaslu trek in the right season

are mostly clear.
The temperatures in the lower regions of
Manaslu start increasing in mid-March, and they start getting quite hot by
mid-April. However, the temperatures in the upper mountains remain moderate,
and daytime temperatures can reach 18 degrees Celsius. The temperature at
night, however, drops to as low as -4 degrees Celsius. It is during this time
that most trekkers head up the mountain, but the weather will be cooler than in
other seasons.
